Emily Koonse is a mother and an award-winning artist working in film, video and still photography. She is participating in a self-imposed artist residency in motherhood documented on motherwork.org and recently founded motherwork media to showcase some of the resulting projects. Her narratives reveal truths about nature, place and self. She works in abstract imagery, experimenting with analog and digital art techniques to examine storytelling with an emphasis on exploring personal subject matter and the natural world. Recent projects include award-winning documentary "Lost Child?" and the Missouri Photo Workshop photo essay, "Debra's Second Chance."

Sarah Arriagada is a mother and art therapist. She is passionate about helping and supporting women during the delicate yet powerful transition that takes place in pregnancy, birth and motherhood. She founded Mother’s Well, An Art Space for Perinatal Wellbeing LLC in Columbia, MO in the summer of 2018 and offers mindful art and birth story listening sessions, mindful art groups and birth story circles.
